Project: Miele DARC3
Brief
Design a hand-held remote control with no more than five buttons and model it to a high degree. Produce one fully detailed high-quality foam model to represent the solution.
Outcome
By sketching and sketch modelling I applied Miele's design language to the remote. During analysing and testing I critically evaluated and continued to refine the remote. I paid a lot of attention to the finer details as I wanted to achieve clean, crisp and straight lines throughout. This lead to me creating the finished model from two pieces, enabling me to create an even split line while incorporating the screen.
